Media Reports On Rusty’s Closing

This is disappointing. I know many of our readers enjoyed Rustys.
Rusty’s Restaurant in Edwardsville has closed its doors for economic reasons, according to co-owner Dale Werner.
“Business was not at the level we needed to keep the place open,” Werner said.
Is it the change in shopping geography in Edwardsville? Or something else?

This is a shame! I agree location is an issue…how many restaurants are there in the Crossings area? Sad to see Rusty’s close…

I think in part the location was not bad but the overall reason was the management of the establishment
