More Pests Via Phone
Published by Al Adomite on June 13th, 2008
After being assured I was “off the list” by both pressing “2″ and with speaking with a representative (remember this post back on June 2), “Account Services” is back at it again, calling me from (506) 220-3691 this afternoon.
Have I mentioned my distaste for these calls?
In my never-ending search to identify the company that makes the calls, I came across this hilarious website: http://heatherwithaccountservices.com/
I wonder if there are laws in Illinois and Missouri that prohibit the use of bogus caller-IDs?

To paraphase Nancy Reagan “Just say NO” and hang up. Or put the phone down and let them keep talking. When you hear the dial tone again, hang up.
It’s a good feeling.

Stopping Heather:
I think the fact that you have a site dedicated to some voiced-over character named “Heather” is just funny. I support the concept fully.
It just occurs to me that someone out there, surely not named Heather, who voices their recorded calls, is going to someday run across your website that sort-of bears her name.
Please know that I meant no offense. I just find the circumstance amusing.
Go get ‘em!

Thanks, just had to make sure. Some people have been trying to claim that I am in fact part of the scam.
